Aqueon Triple Tube Strip-Light features an electronic ballast and comes with three All-Glass Aquarium 8000K “Full Spectrum” lamps. It is designed to run all T-8 lamps, allowing the user to mix and match different light spectrums. A great light for aquarium plant enthusiasts and avid fish keepers• Uses 50% less electricity compared to equivalent light powered by standard magnetic ballasts.
• Lamps will run more efficiently, distributing 10-22% more light compared to standard magnetic ballasts.
• Generates 60% less heat compared to standard magnetic ballasts.
• No more “flicker” – instant start can extend lamp life by up to 50%.
• Weighs up to 4 lbs. less than the equivalent standard magnetic ballasts.
Important: Only use Strip-Lights over glass tops. They are NOT designed to be safely used over open water.
